Zorthorn is operated by Amlog Apps Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India. We build India's competitive gaming identity platform — giving every mobile gamer a permanent profile, ranked history, and earned badges. References to "Zorthorn", "we", "us", or "our" mean Amlog Apps Pvt Ltd.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use Zorthorn:

• Account information: Your name, email address, username (IGN), and password when you register.
• Game data: Your BGMI player ID, ranked match results, kill/death statistics, and win rates — fetched from verified game APIs upon your explicit authorisation.
• Activity data: XP earned, badges unlocked, quests completed, leaderboard positions, and ZE Coin transactions within Zorthorn.
• Device & technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, and session identifiers for security and analytics.
• Communications: Messages you send to our support team.

We do not collect payment card details. Zorthorn is free; no financial transactions are processed through the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your competitive identity profile.
• To calculate rankings, XP, and badge eligibility based on verified match data.
• To operate leaderboards, tournaments, and daily quests.
• To send you important account notifications (new season, rank changes, badge unlocks).
• To improve the platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
• To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (India)

We process your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Our legal bases are:

• Consent: You provide consent when you register and link your game account.
• Legitimate interests: Platform security, fraud prevention, and improving our services.
• Legal obligation: Where required by Indian law.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

• Service providers: Cloud hosting, analytics, and email services operating under strict data processing agreements.
• Game publishers: Only to verify your player account — no gameplay data is shared back.
• Law enforcement: When required by valid legal process under Indian law.

Your public profile (IGN, rank, badges) is visible to other Zorthorn users by default. You can set your profile to private in account settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Your competitive history (anonymised) may be retained for leaderboard integrity.

7. Your Rights

Under the DPDPA and applicable regulations, you have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data we hold.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to erasure").
• Withdraw consent at any time (this will not affect processing before withdrawal).
• Nominate a person to exercise your rights on your behalf.

Zorthorn is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered, contact us immediately at hello@zorthornesports.com.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Zorthorn account.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
